2022 Kinsmen Car Show

    A very successful "Show & Shine" event was completed under perfect weather conditions on Sunday, August 14th.  Over 1,200 paid spectators (@ $3) enjoyed viewing the 420 show cars on the Park's Canada grounds (Butler's Barracks Site), beside our Kinsmen-Scout Hall.  And, as always, the BBQ offerings (back-bacon burgers, hotdogs, hamburgers), and beer tent were well attended, during breaks, while viewing the classics on display.  

    The 50:50 draw was a 'memory' record high, with the lucky winner receiving $2,115 from the 2 PM draw.  The draw was held in memory of our past-president, Robert Forbes, who we lost this previous month to his battle with cancer.

    All net proceeds from the event go back to the club to support club operations, and local and national charitable causes for the upcoming year, most notably Cystic Fibrosis Canada.  Thanks to our members and volunteers for all the planning and effort needed to make this possible, to the car owners displaying their polished pride & joy, and to all those attending.  And special one-time thanks to Rene Bertschi of Skyview Arts (NOTL) for donating his time and skills in providing drone video of our event - to be shared here soon.

    We plan to repeat it all again next year - Sunday, August 13th, 2023!
